Celebrated yearly on July 5, Minas Gerais Gastronomy Day was established in 2012 and pays homage to Eduardo Frieiro, writer of “Feijão, Angu e Couve – Ensaio sobre a Comida dos Mineiros”, revealed in 1966, and who is taken into account the Bible of Mining Meals Tradition.
